All patients receive a comprehensive periodontal exam. Once a patient's peridontal status is diagnosed, the appropriate treatment is recommended.
Education, prevention and home care play a large role in the success of one's treatment.
From single unit crowns to full mouth rehabilitation, we can provide the finest restorations possible.
For patients missing one or multiple teeth, implants are a great option. The lost teeth can be replaced without having to wear removable partials or dentures. All things that were done with your biological teeth, can be done again with natural looking and feeling implants.
A more conservative restoration than a full crown is an inlay or onlay, which preserves more healthy tooth structure. They can be made of gold, composite or porcelain.
Adhesive dentistry has allowed us to place conservative, aesthetic, natural composite fillings. Old silver fillings darken the teeth, and act like a wedge in a tooth; often leading to tooth fractures. Also, some people have concerns with mercury contamination.
Our recommendation is when the old silver fillings need to be replaced, it's a good time to replace all restorations in that arch. The difference between an arch with silver fillings and an arch with white bonded filling replacements is remarkable! Your smile will immediately brighten up with the gray silver fillings being removed.
Most root canals are treated in the office. However, some are referred to local endodontists (specialists) to provide the necessary care.
Full and partial dentures are provided services for those patients in need. With newer materials a natural look can be achieved.
Some in office bleaching is done. The most popular method however is the take home kit so patients can apply the material at their convenience.
For those who want a "smile makeover" all porcelain (veneer and crowns) restorations are the optimal choice. They can mimic the characteristics of enamel giving you a bright natural smile!
For patients who grind, have jaw tenderness (TMJ), worn teeth or headaches, nightguards can be a helpful device to aid in alleviating symptoms. Athletic guards are available for those involved in full contact sports.
SNOREGUARDS
For treatment of mild to moderate sleep apnea, a snore guard can be helpful. A consultation with your physician is usually needed to see if this is the right choice for you.
